Bachelor of Science (Biological Sciences) program is a three (3) year program that covers six (6) semesters INCLUDING one (1) short semester between Semester 4 and Semester 5. The program is run full time with 120 credit hours to graduate. The curriculum of the program covers the basic disciplines of biological sciences including biochemistry, genetics, cell and molecular biology, microbiology, anatomy and physiology, ecology and biotechnology. Students are also exposed to the discipline of chemistry and statistics. In addition, students will also have the opportunity to conduct research in the laboratory or field through the Final Year Project and Industrial Training courses.

The educational objectives of the Bachelor of Science (Biological Sciences) program are to produce:
• graduates with extensive knowledge and technical skills in biological sciences;
• graduates who are able to communicate effectively, have high leadership potential and are able to perform individual and group tasks in a variety of roles;
• graduates who are capable of identifying, evaluating and solving problems related to biological sciences by taking into account aspects of environmental, social, moral and ethical balance; and
• graduates who have entrepreneurial traits and practice lifelong learning elements for excellent career development.
