Master of Science Tropical Marine Environment provides students with advanced knowledge and skills in both theoretical and practical aspects of tropical ecosystems. This unique interdisciplinary program aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the complex dynamics of tropical ocean ecosystems, the impacts of human activities and climate change, as well as how the policy and management strategies can be implemented to address
these impacts. As the largest marine science community in the country, students will be trained by highly qualified lecturers in state-of-the-art laboratories and at research stations Bidong, Setiu, and Redang, as well as aboard our Discovery research vessel.

Entry Requirements
1. Academic Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree (any science discipline) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75.
- Bachelor of Science degree with CGPA 2.50 - 2.75 plus at least 3 years professional/working experience in marine or environmental science.
- Diploma of Science plus at least 3 years professional/working experience in related fields. (Note: Must complete APEL.A assessment).
2. English Language (International)
- MUET: Band 3.5
- IELTS: Score 5.0
- TOEFL IBT: Score 40
- PTE / Cambridge / OET: As per specified scores.
- CEFR: Minimum High Band 1
Conditional Offer: Candidates not meeting these requirements have 1 year to pass the English assessment or the offer will be revoked.
