UNIVERSITY'S GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with credit in Bahasa Malaysia / Bahasa Melayu and pass History (starting from 2013).
- Obtain at least Band 1.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
SPTM GRADUATES
- Achieve a minimum CGPA
2.00 with Grade C in 3 subjects including General Studies.
STAM GRADUATES
- Obtain at least Jayyid Rank
MATRICULATION/ FOUNDATION GRADUATES
- Pass KPM Matriculation/Foundation in Science with a minimum CGPA
2.00
DIPLOMA GRADUATES/EQUIVALENT
- Pass Diploma or equivalent qualification;
- OR, pass STPM in 2018 or earlier with ≥ Grade C in three (3) subjects including General Studies;
- OR, pass KPM Matriculation/Foundation with ≥ CGPA 2.00.
PROGRAM SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
SPTM/ MATRICULATION/ FOUNDATION GRADUATES (SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING)
- Obtain at least GRADE C in any ONE (1) of the following subjects: Physics/ Mathematics/ Additional Mathematics, Chemistry/ Biology/ Information and Communication Technology/ Computer Science/ Basic Engineering/ Electrical and Electronic Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ Statistics/ Logical Reasoning.
- Obtain at least Band 2.0 in MUET.
DIPLOMA GRADUATES/ EQUIVALENT
- Possess a Diploma or other
qualifications recognized as
equivalent and approved by
the University Senate, with a
minimum CGPA of 2.00 in a
field related to Science and
Technology
- MUET at least Band 2.0.
DVM (DIPLOMA IN VOCATIONAL MALAYSIA)/ EQUIVALENT GRADUATES
- Obtain a minimum CGPA 2.50 in related field.
- Possess other qualifications recognized as equivalent and certified by the University Senate.
- MUET at least Band 2.0.
