This program delves into marine and brackish life and ecosystems, exploring organisms from microscopic plankton to massive whales. Marine biology imparts insights into diverse species’ adaptations, interactions, and habitats within ocean ecosystems. Students are expected to grasp ecological concepts, study marine biodiversity, and understand environmental challenges, particularly from the South China Sea. Explore conservation strategies and the impact of human activities on marine environments through practical skills in fieldwork and lab analysis. Overall, this discipline equips students with a profound understanding of ocean life, ecological balance, and the tools to contribute to the safeguarding of our marine resources.
