UNIVERSITY'S GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with credit in Bahasa Malaysia / Bahasa Melayu and pass History (starting from 2013).
- Obtain at least Band 1.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
SPTM GRADUATES
- Achieve a minimum CGPA
2.00 with Grade C in 3 subjects including General Studies.
STAM GRADUATES
- Obtain at least Jayyid Rank
MATRICULATION/ FOUNDATION GRADUATES
- Pass KPM Matriculation/Foundation in Science with a minimum CGPA
2.00
PROGRAM SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
SPTM/ MATRICULATION/ FOUNDATION GRADUATES (SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING)
- Obtain at least Grade C in Chemistry subject at Matriculation or Foundation level.
- OR Attain at least a Grade C in any ONE (1) of the following subjects at STPM level: Chemistry/ Biology/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Additional Mathematics.
- Obtain at least Band 2.0 in MUET.
DIPLOMA GRADUATES/ EQUIVALENT
- Obtain a minimum CGPA of 2.50 in the related field.
- Possess other qualifications recognized as equivalent and certified by the University Senate.
- MUET at leas Band 2.0.
DVM (DIPLOMA IN VOCATIONAL MALAYSIA)/ EQUIVALENT GRADUATES
- Obtain a minimuAttain a minimum CGPA of 2.50 in a field related to Science and Technology
- Possess other qualifications recognized as equivalent and certified by the University Senate.
- MUET at least Band 2.0.
General Entry Requirements
- Obtain Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with credits in Bahasa Malaysia / Malay language and pass the History subjects beginning in 2013. Credit in Bahasa Malaysia / Malay language paper in July can also be accounted;
- Pass Matriculation-KPM / Foundation Science in UM / Foundation in UiTM and obtain at least CGPA 2.00; and
- Obtain at least level 1 (Band 1) in Malaysia University English Test (MUET) according to the validity period on the date of application.
