Marine science, in general, is a discipline that focuses on the biological, chemical, physical, and geological processes in the ocean and its surroundings. It connects the various scientific fields in an effort to understand the physical processes and chemical reactions in the ocean and atmosphere. It also teaches us about the interactions between marine organisms and their habitat, the ocean floor structure, and the potential resources. Understanding the complex interactions between marine organisms and their environment is crucial for managing and protecting marine ecosystems and ensuring sustainable use of marine resources.
